IOC decides to enable Statue of Liberty image to stay on Crew USA goalie masks

GANGNEUNG, Korea — The IOC has determined to enable the Statue of Liberty image to stand on the goalie masks belonging to U.S gamers Nicole Hensley and Alex Rigsby.

The Americans were notified the choice sooner than dressing for their game against the Olympic Athletes from Russia on Tuesday.

Earlier, the Americans were told that the Statue of Liberty was being reviewed to assemble out if it was in violation of the IOC’s ban of political symbols on masks.

Hensley’s Statue of Liberty image is on the left aspect of her conceal, and Rigsby’s is on her chin. Neither goalie conducted in USA’s opening three-1 preserve against Finland. Maddie Rooney was the starter.
